1 day in Louisiana my uncle was a construction worker. He grew up in the field of everything. So after a while he got his own little business going, around the city of baton rouge he was building local businesses or doing improvements.I would come and help him with his work and as im helping him im actually learning a lot from this.he was so smart an useful he knew a lot my whole life changed when he introduced me to cars.i paid more attention to that type of things. Then my family is from the country so a lot of people had big dually trucks as the days go by i get more interested.thats why till this day i wanna be a diesel mechanic
Oil, grease and diesel engines are just some of the things that get kevin bethely up in the mornings to make the 50-mile commute to work.
It’s the familiar mix of troubleshooting, tinkering, trial and error and the ultimate success of getting an engine running again that has sparked a drive and passion in Schusted for transportation.
“I’ve always been around motors and stuff my whole life,” he said. “I’ve raced snowmobiles (and have done) motocross. So I’ve always been around that kind of stuff.”
And it helped having a father and uncle experienced in the industry.
“My dad worked for my uncle,” he said. “They owned a construction company right in our backyard. (My dad) is a large equipment operator. So he operates the equipment and he drives truck. He works on (trucks). He does everything. That’s where I kind of got into it.”
